College Students --
Welcome to St. Tom's
Coming
to Kalamazoo in the fall? Look for our booth at the WMU
Involvement Zone during your orientation session. We'll be glad to
tell you all that St. Tom's offers students while you are studying
here in Kalamazoo.
Parents, while you are here for orientation, consider making a stop
at St. Tom's, to see how close we are to campus, and the programming
we have for college students.
More at Midweek
will return in September
Every Wednesday, students gather
at St. Tom's for Praise and Worship followed by free pizza and an
activity or presentation planned for college students by our Student
Ministry Team.
Join us for our first fall More at Midweek on Wednesday, September
4, 2013.
Kalamazoo College students and summer
students, please join us for one of our 4 regular weekend Masses:
Saturdays at 6:00 pm; Sundays at 9:30 and 11:30 am and 7:30 pm. You
are always welcome to come and pray with us!
K students, we will have Care Packages
for you at all Masses on the June 8/9 weekend, to help you get
through exams!
Student Ministry Team next fall?
If so, please talk to Sister Sue at church and/or
download the application form here and return it to church. The
Student Ministry Team plans the student activities and More at
Midweek topics, in addition to serving the parish in one of the
liturgical ministries. It's a great way to participate and help
shape in the life of our student parish.
This Week's Mass Schedule
Do you know that St. Tom's hosts a
student AA group on Tuesday, Thursday and Friday nights at
8 pm and Saturday nights at 11 pm If you or someone you know is struggling with
alcohol, consider checking out the group.

St. Tom's is the home of Catholic Campus Ministry in Kalamazoo. Conveniently located between Western Michigan University and Kalamazoo College, we also serve those studying with Kalamazoo Center for Medical Studies and Kalamazoo Valley Community College and other local colleges. We are a full fledged parish, with more than 750 registered parishioners, many of them employed by the college/university. If you are new to Kalamazoo or if you have grown up here and are now attending college, even if you are living at home, we hope you will check us out. Our mission is to serve the college communities

Our Student Ministry Team consists of about a dozen college students who help plan and lead many of the student activities. In conjunction with the Pastoral Team, the Student Ministers work to reach out to students on campus, to get students involved in St. Tom's ministries and activities.
