Deacon joe schmitt works full time in the Office of Marriage and Family Life for the Diocese of Kalamazoo, and serves as deacon at St. Tom's, where he helps with marriage preparation, baptisms, preaching, and Communion Services. Passionate about Peace and Justice, joe is active in  the Kalamazoo Pax Christi chapter, ERAC/CE, Isaac, North side Ministerial Alliance, People United for Secure Housing and other groups.
